The project aims to improve communication and clarity within the public spaces of the main building, including the circulation areas, shop and café, as well as the creation of a small auditorium for informal events. The premises evolved throughout the process: the auditorium and café were not built, but the same process also included an exhibition on the building’s presence in the city and the incorporation of the founder’s tomb, discovered during the process.

The aim was to create a unified identity for the various spaces and to recover the original spatial legibility and circulation routes, which had meanwhile been distorted by isolated and inappropriate interventions.
