Located in the centre of the village of Alvor, in Portimão, the project provides a holiday home for a traditional family on a long, narrow plot enclosed by the surrounding buildings, with only a narrow frontage connecting it to the public realm.

The site is fully occupied. The ground floor is conceived as a single, continuous space, with no formal boundaries between interior and exterior, the swimming pool included. On the upper floor, the bedrooms are arranged more independently, alternating with private and shared courtyards that extend from the ground floor while providing the necessary privacy for each room. The relationship with the exterior of the plot is reduced to the entrance door, the only element possible on the façade.
